Terra One is one of our ventures. The company is dedicated to tasks that support the urgently needed energy transition - namely, expanding the infrastructure for renewable energies and improving energy storage, even for large-scale projects. In addition, the team ensures that energy can be provided when it is most needed. Since Germany's energy demand is expected to reach around 180 GW by 2045, optimizing infrastructure and storage is particularly important.

Terra One is one of the market leaders in project development and operation of grid-connected battery energy storage systems in Germany. Together with its partners, the company has successfully implemented projects with a total capacity of over 100 MWh and built a pipeline of more than 2 GW. However, it is not enough to develop efficient processes alone: it is also important to network with suppliers and partners to ensure the implementation of plans as quickly as possible. The company covers the entire value chain from site securing to the handover of the turnkey storage system. Customers can rely on receiving the optimal layout with the appropriate operating strategies.
Marketing on the Power Exchange with AI
Terra One's solutions are not only concerned with the production and storage of renewable energy, but also with the intelligent marketing of electricity on the EEX power exchange. The models are trained with historical price data as well as data such as solar time and wind speeds. This approach enables trading on the power exchange with futures, as well as optimizing the charging and discharging times of the batteries - and thus the associated trading. The electricity market is rapidly changing, and the flexible switching between operating modes allows for quick responses to changing conditions. This means that favorable events can be used in the short term and new sources of income can be developed in the long term. Through our experience in developing web platforms and energy dashboards for our major customers, as well as our internal expertise in machine learning and AI, we have been able to quickly build a high-performance and future-proof platform for energy trading with the Terra One team.
