That's why we designed the Hurrado food configurator: It performs real-time calculations that take into account all the information entered by users. These calculations allow us to create individually tailored food for each dog that is beneficial and tasty for them.

To create an optimal user experience that doesn't fail due to long loading times, we rely on a server-side rendering approach using NextJS. The initial rendering of the pages is delegated to the backend, allowing for seamless transitions between pages. Through a headless Shopify integration, we can complete our orders without losing flexibility in the design of our shop. The Shopify system manages the entire ordering process, including notifying our logistics and delivering individual purchases. Systems like Hotjar and Mixpanel help us analyze and anonymize the behavior of end customers in interacting with our shop, allowing us to perform UI and UX optimizations based on the data obtained.

The Hurrado website offers an intuitively operated configurator for specially customized dog food: Dog owners enter the name, gender, age, size, and weight of the dog and indicate whether it is a purebred or mixed breed. We inquire about the physical condition of the animal, how much exercise it gets in everyday life, and whether there are any health problems. Users indicate whether they want wet food, dry food, or both, and select the dog's preferences. They then receive suggestions for food options that are precisely tailored to the animal - including composition, additives, and ingredients in percentages.
